The 13th International RIdIM Conference and the 1st Brazilian Conference on Music Iconography will be held at the Espaço Cultural "Arlindo Fragoso" of the Federal University of Bahia Politechnique School.

General description

Located on the sixth floor of the Polytechnic School of the Federal University of Bahia, the Espaço Cultural "Arlindo Fragoso" is structured as a convention center with capacity for 300 people. Equipped with the latest technology, the space consists of 4 halls, a 200m2 foyer, 3 bathrooms (one equipped for handicapped people), a full mini kitchen (stove, refrigerator, microwave) and a room for a conference office. The space also features a surround-sound system in the foyer and auditorium Leopoldo Amaral (220 people) and Magno Valente (80 people) and a mobile multimedia system equipped with TV, video and computer. Auditorium 1 - Prof. Leopoldo Amaral (220 places)
With an area of 214 m2 and a capacity for more than 200 people, this is the main auditorium of the Arlindo Fragoso cultural space. Equipped with sound system and state-of-the-art technology (such as video, multimedia computer, beamer, etc.), it also hosts a room equipped with video and sound recorder, mixer and player that also serves the Magno Valente auditorium, linking the two auditoriums technologically. In addition, it has a speaker-equipped room with TV and air conditioning.

Auditorium 2 - Prof. Magno Valente (80 places) With an area of 116 m2 this auditorium is adequate for an audience of 80 people. It is equipped with multimedia pc, data show projector and sound system.

Auditorium 3 - Prof. Lourenço Costa (40 places) This auditorium provides space for 40 people in a 35 m2 area. It is also equipped with sound and video systems.

FoyerWith an area of 200m2, the foyer provides access to all conference halls. It will also host the exhibitors' stands, and provides space for social gatherings and for the coffee breaks.
